Using traditional Indigenous methods, tools and protocols, participants will learn how to:

• create further safe spaces within the classroom

• run effective sharing circles

• apply restorative justice to deal fairly and kindly with conflict

Not only are the learning outcomes of this workshop a great way to fulfill important curriculum learnings, but contain crucial skills for students to enhance social-emotional learning toolkits. Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to learn how to find/strengthen their voices, boosting their self-esteem and enhancing self-advocacy. The teachings that come with this workshop can be applied at any age and therefore are a great addition to any classroom and grade level!
