1 Day Workshop with Certification Option*
A fantastic workshop for organizational teams, educators, and the training of volunteer staff!
This workshop will have participants walking away with knowing how to work within a team in a more empathetic way, better embracing the wide variety of needs and viewpoints they encounter each day.
Using the medicine wheel as our model, participants will work reflectively, through individual and group work, to
- better understand themselves and those they work with
- actively interact with the 'Circle of Needs' to appreciate what is necessary to bring their best forward in order to learn and work optimally as integral team members in sharing their gifts and talents
- adopt and adapt Indigenous governance models to build and customize working charters, establishing the trust and cohesion that lead to strong and effective teams
- touch upon how the sacred circle model works and how it may be implemented into everyday meetings, instances requiring restorative justice, etc.
